If you love using Thunderbird, we are counting on you to get involved to spread the word.
- Become a Thunderbird affiliate: Once you sign up as a SpreadThunderbird member, add a Thunderbird button to your website and a link to your e-mail signature. Every time someone clicks on your link, you'll get a point. Points earn you visibility in the roll call, which will drive significant traffic to your website.
- Tell the world what you think: Help us encourage other people to use Thunderbird by reviewing and rating it at popular download sites such as c|net Download.com (Windows Mac), ZDNet (Windows Mac), Windows Marketplace and BetaNews (Windows Mac Linux).
- Print a stack of flyers and leave them somewhere accessible to people. For example, if you're a college student, leave them by your dorm's door. If you work in an office, leave them in your mail room. (Get permission if necessary.)
- Put a link to Thunderbird in your signature of a message board you frequent regularly. Simple text links with a short explanation or tagline will probably be more effective than gaudy banners and other large images and buttons.
- Write a letter to your school, your favorite newspaper, your local government, your ISP, or your nearest internet cafe. Personal letters are most effective but if you're having difficulty getting started, you can get going quickly with our letter templates.
- Write a letter or send an email to a computer magazine extolling the virtues of using Thunderbird.
